During Erasmus Days 2026, EMLV joined ESILV and De Vinci Higher Education’s international community to promote Erasmus+ opportunities for students, faculty and staff. Student podcasts, a staff information session and activities organised by partner association ESN brought international experiences into campus life.
Coordinated by the International Relations team, the programme connected practical information about going abroad with opportunities to meet people who had already experienced international mobility.
Erasmus Days 2026 puts skills at the centre
Held in October 2026, the tenth edition of Erasmus Days celebrated the opportunities Erasmus+ offers across Europe and beyond. This year’s focus on skills reflected the European Union’s Union of Skills strategy, which supports education, training and lifelong learning.
At De Vinci Higher Education, the activities addressed both outgoing mobility and the experience of international students in France. Preparing to study or work abroad and welcoming people from other countries involve shared questions: how to communicate across cultures, adapt to unfamiliar environments and establish new relationships.
For EMLV students preparing for management careers, these questions also concern their future working lives, from collaborating with international colleagues to understanding different approaches to business.
Student podcasts share experiences of Erasmus+ mobility
The International Relations team produced podcasts featuring international and French students who had completed an Erasmus+ mobility period. Distributed through De Vinci Higher Education’s social media channels, the recordings gave students a platform to share their experiences with the wider community.
Students from EMLV and ESILV who had studied abroad also shared a piece of advice for international students, drawing on their own experience of learning in another country.
These contributions brought together the perspectives of students leaving France and those arriving here. For someone considering an exchange, hearing directly from another student provides a personal starting point for questions about studying abroad. For incoming students, advice from peers creates a connection with people familiar with the adjustments that international study can involve.
Erasmus+ opportunities for faculty and staff
An information meeting organised by International Relations presented Erasmus+ professional mobility opportunities to teaching and administrative staff.
The session extended the conversation beyond student exchanges, giving employees an opportunity to learn about mobility within their own professional context. Erasmus+ supports teaching and training activities abroad, as well as opportunities for students to study or undertake placements.
By addressing both staff and students, the programme made professional learning abroad part of the Erasmus Days discussions at De Vinci Higher Education.
International experience within the EMLV Grande École Programme
At EMLV, international mobility forms part of a management education that combines business knowledge, technological understanding and interpersonal skills.
The Grande École Programme includes an academic semester at a partner university and an international internship. Students therefore experience both a different learning environment and a workplace abroad, with opportunities to develop language skills, autonomy and intercultural communication.
This international pathway complements the interdisciplinary work undertaken alongside ESILV engineering students and IIM digital students. Learning to cooperate with people from different academic and cultural backgrounds supports EMLV’s approach to preparing future Connective Leaders.
ESN brings international and local students together
Partner association ESN organised an “Around the World” language café at Campus du Parc. Centred on languages and cultural exchange, the gathering offered international and local students an informal setting to meet and learn about one another’s backgrounds.
Alongside mobility information, these encounters gave space to the international community already on campus.

International students having fun at La Tête dans les Nuages
On Friday, ESN closed the programme with an arcade evening at La Tête dans les Nuages, bringing international and local students together around games and shared leisure time.
