The annual I Pitch & Meet: International Edition event brought together international MSc and MBA students from EMLV and representatives from a range of corporate partners.
Organised by the De Vinci Corporate Relations Department (DRE), the event provides a structured setting where students present their profiles to recruiters and receive direct feedback on their professional pitch. The initiative supports international students in preparing for the expectations of the French and international job markets.
I Pitch & Meet: A Structured Pitch Session Format
The core of the event consists of individual pitch sessions. During these meetings, students introduce their academic background, skills, and professional ambitions to recruiters.
Each session lasts 15 minutes, including a five-minute presentation followed by five to ten minutes of feedback from the recruiter. The schedule is organized into twelve slots per jury, allowing students to participate in at least two interviews, with the possibility of a third depending on availability.
This format enables recruiters to assess students’ profiles while offering constructive advice on improving their professional presentation and communication.

Networking Opportunities for EMLV Students and Recruiters
Beyond the pitch sessions, the event also emphasised networking. The afternoon began with a buffet lunch, followed by opening remarks from EMLV’s Corporate Relations and Soft Skills teams.
After the pitching sessions, the day concluded with a networking cocktail, providing a more informal setting for students and recruiters to continue discussions and exchange contacts.
For students, the event offered an opportunity to refine their presentation skills while expanding their professional networks. For recruiters, it provided direct access to international talent currently completing MSc and MBA programs at EMLV.
Through initiatives such as I Pitch & Meet, EMLV continues to strengthen the connection between academic training and professional expectations, supporting students in their transition to the workplace while fostering dialogue with corporate partners.
