Between October 2025 and March 2026, EMLV strengthened its international academic network with new partnerships across Europe, Asia and Africa. These agreements extend mobility opportunities and reinforce alignment with internationally accredited institutions.
Over the past six months, several universities joined the EMLV ecosystem, reflecting a structured approach to international exposure within the Programme Grande École.
International experience: an essential step for students
International exposure has become a defining component of higher education pathways, reflecting a graduate’s ability to adapt, navigate multicultural environments and operate across borders.
At EMLV, this dimension is fully integrated into the Master in Management (Programme Grande École): all students complete a full year abroad, combining an academic exchange and a six-month professional experience.
Supported by partnerships with institutions across Europe, the United States, Malaysia and South Korea, this structure enables the development of linguistic skills, intercultural awareness and autonomy. It also connects academic learning with international career perspectives, while recent partnerships further expand opportunities aligned with evolving global expectations.
Europe: expanding academic partnerships in Sweden, Italy and the United Kingdom
Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Italy
In Italy, a partnership with Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan introduces new mobility opportunities for Bachelor students.
With multiple campuses and more than a century of academic history, the university plays a significant role in European higher education. Its location in Milan offers access to a major economic centre, connecting academic experience with professional environments.
Jönköping University in Sweden
A new Erasmus+ agreement has been signed with Jönköping University in Sweden, an institution recognised for its international environment and its links with entrepreneurship and applied research.
Located in southern Sweden, the university hosts around 12,000 students, including a large proportion of international students. Its teaching model combines academic knowledge with project-based learning and close collaboration with companies.
The Jönköping International Business School holds AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA accreditations, ensuring alignment with EMLV’s academic standards (AACSB, AMBA, EFMD Accredited Master).
This partnership will open semester exchanges starting in 2026, particularly for students in the Bachelor in Affaires et Relations Internationales, within a structured Erasmus+ framework.
A new partnership with the University of Birmingham
EMLV also expands its presence in the United Kingdom through a partnership with the University of Birmingham, a leading institution ranked among the country’s top universities. Its business school holds the three major international accreditations (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS), ensuring strong academic alignment with EMLV’s standards.
This agreement, accessible within both the Programme Grande École and Bachelor pathways, offers semester exchanges starting in 2027. It combines exchange and fee-paying formats, increasing flexibility in mobility options.
Located in one of the UK’s major academic and economic centres, the University of Birmingham provides an environment shaped by international collaboration and research, thereby expanding the range of destinations available to EMLV students.
Asia: new academic gateways in China, Thailand and Malaysia
East China University of Science and Technology (Shanghai)
EMLV signed an exchange agreement with East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST), a major university in Shanghai. Its School of Business is triple-accredited (EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA).
From autumn 2026, students from the Programme Grande École will be able to complete a semester in Shanghai. This destination strengthens exposure to Asian economic environments and global value chains.
Thammasat Business School (Bangkok)
A new partnership has also been established with Thammasat Business School in Thailand, another triple-accredited institution (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA).
This agreement expands opportunities in Southeast Asia, a region shaped by strong economic, industrial and digital dynamics. Academic exchanges are expected to begin in 2027 as part of the Programme Grande École’s international pathway.
University of Malaya (Kuala Lumpur)
EMLV is also developing cooperation with the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, one of Malaysia’s leading universities. The institution holds AACSB and AMBA accreditations and is part of an international academic network that includes several European partners.
The agreement is based on semester exchanges, with the first student mobility planned for 2027. It aims to increase the number of exchange opportunities with accredited universities in Asia.
Located in a regional hub, this destination provides exposure to Southeast Asian markets and multicultural environments.
Africa and Mediterranean region: a new partnership in Tunisia
South Mediterranean University (SMU)
EMLV signed an agreement with South Mediterranean University (SMU) in Tunis, extending its presence in North Africa.
The institution holds AACSB, AMBA and EFMD accreditations, ensuring alignment with international academic standards. The Mediterranean School of Business, one of its founding schools, contributes to its international positioning.
Student exchanges are scheduled from spring 2027, with one- or two-semester mobility integrated into the Programme Grande École.
An international strategy aligned with the Master in Management – Programme Grande École
These recent agreements extend a network that already includes more than 150 partner universities worldwide.
Within the Programme Grande École, international exposure follows a structured path:
- A semester of academic exchange
- An international professional experience
- Preparation and follow-up are integrated into the curriculum
This framework contributes to developing intercultural understanding, adaptability and the ability to operate in complex environments.
The selection of partner institutions is guided by consistent criteria: international accreditations, academic recognition, and alignment with EMLV’s positioning as a school that combines management, technology, and societal awareness.
A network supporting global career perspectives
The expansion observed between October 2025 and March 2026 reinforces geographic diversity, with new destinations in Northern Europe, Southern Europe, Asia and North Africa.
This dynamic supports the objective of providing each student with an academic and professional experience abroad, integrated into a coherent learning path and connected to evolving business environments.
