Honoring Devinci Higher Education Graduates with Commencement Day at Paris La Defense Arena

On Thursday, April 14, EMLV held an in-person commencement ceremony for its 2022 MBA, MSc, and Master’s graduation. More than a thousand students worldwide donned their caps and gowns as they graduated from De Vinci Higher Education to mark the culmination of their hard work and their commitment to gaining valuable international experience.

Graduates of the EMLV Business School Class of 2021 saw their commencement day held at Paris La Defense Arena, a unique sports and events complex located in Europe’s leading business district. The EMLV, ESILV and IIM faculty and staff welcomed the 2020-2021 graduates and proud family members to the commencement ceremony.  Hybrid work, team projects, exams, internships, discussions, friendships, Parisian life … Each year, this milestone event brings some unique moments of reflection and deep insight into the lives of international students in Paris.

A sea of caps and gowns in blue, red, and orange – EMLV, ESILV and IIM colors – happy faces, proud smiles, and a stadium full of friends, professors, and family, are a few features of a commencement ceremony at De Vinci Higher Education.

Graduation is such a special day for students, their loved ones, and Devinci staff, including the Welcome Desk, the International Admission department, the Corporate Relations team, etc.

Here are some highlights from EMLV graduates and staff posts on social media, among many updates the Davinci community shared on various platforms such as LinkedIn. Zoe, an International admission officer at Devinci Higher Education, was part of the adventure and appreciated this moment of shared victory.

Zied chose the Finance & Management Control major at EMLV for his graduate studies in Paris, and he’s proud of the way he handled it.

It’s always with the end that things begin” is one of my favorite phrases and the best one to describe the end of this beautiful period in my life. It was in October 2020 that it all began. I started meeting new people, discovering extraordinary minds, and living in survival mode because of covid. Online courses, team presentations, masks, hybrid formats, curfew, marketing, lockdowns, exams, internships, teamwork, discussions, friendships, a lot of information, and lots of lessons learned. This MBA gave me more than anything I could have ever asked for, so I celebrate that! ”
