EMLV is structuring its strategy around a new School Council, chaired by Bertrand Badré, a recognised player in sustainable finance and former World Bank executive.
A strategic forum for reflection on the school’s development
The mission of the EMLV School Council is to contribute to defining the academic, pedagogical, scientific and international orientations of the school. It marks a structuring stage in the academic governance of the school. The role of this new consultative body is to formulate opinions on the school’s development and direction, within the framework of De Vinci Higher Education’s strategy. It meets twice a year, convened by its chairman, who sets the agenda.
A board chaired by Bertrand Badré
Bertrand Badré has recently taken over as Chairman of the new EMLV School Board. A former ENA student and graduate of Sciences Po, HEC and La Sorbonne Paris IV, he is founder and managing partner of Blue like an Orange Sustainable Capital. He was Chief Financial Officer of the World Bank, as well as Chief Financial Officer of Société Générale and Crédit Agricole. He also worked for President Jacques Chirac as deputy personal representative for Africa, and at Lazard where he co-led the restructuring of Eurotunnel.
He is currently a non-executive member of the Board of Getlink, co-manager of SIPA Ouest-France, senior advisor at JAB, and sits on the boards of Iddri, IFD and CGDev. He also chairs the advisory board of Project Syndicate and the global trustees of the IFRS foundation.
