Internationalisation is integrated into the school’s strategic plan, aligned with EMLV’s mission of hybridisation and employability. The objective is to prepare students for careers in complex, multicultural and global environments.
Rather than being a peripheral dimension, internationalisation is fully embedded in EMLV’s educational model. It influences curricula, evaluation methods, learning environments and campus life. It supports the development of hybrid, responsible, and globally minded graduates.
This positioning combines international exposure, interdisciplinary skills, and professional development. International partnerships, student mobility and faculty diversity are leveraged to support project-based learning, intercultural communication, and multiple managerial perspectives.
The strategy is led by the International Relations Office, in coordination with programme directors, partner institutions and global networks. It is part of the broader ambition of the Pôle Léonard de Vinci to promote transversal skills and international employability.
EMLV partners with more than 125 universities in over 40 countries, across Europe, Asia, North and South America, Africa and Oceania. Partner selection is based on academic quality, international outlook, pedagogical innovation and institutional recognition.
The school also offers several double degree programmes and is active in many international networks.
EMLV is a full member of international higher education networks and quality assurance bodies:
EMLV also participates in major international forums such as APAIE, EAIE and AACSB ICAM. These platforms enable the School to develop strategic partnerships, exchange best practices, and stay connected with global business and education trends.
EMLV faculty regularly contribute to international academic conferences such as EURAM, AOM and ICTO. These forums support research dissemination, benchmarking, and collaborative initiatives. Several professors are also active in international networks addressing sustainability, digital responsibility, and future skills development, further connecting the school to emerging global challenges.
All Master in Management (MiM) students complete one academic semester and one internship abroad. Bachelor students also benefit from international mobility opportunities, depending on the programme.
Cultural diversity is embedded early on through English-taught courses, intercultural group projects and the presence of international students on campus. Support mechanisms include:
EMLV’s internationalisation strategy is strongly connected to its commitment to Ethics, Responsibility and Sustainability (ERS). It translates into:
