The MBA and MSc programmes close with a farewell party for the 2022 batches at Ground Control

Devinci Higher Education bid farewell to the MBA and MSC batches 2021-2022 with a party in style at Ground Control, a unique place in the Parisian cultural landscape.

It became a tradition for the EMLV international students to say goodbye to their business studies with the farewell party, the Devinci Higher Education’s way to celebrate their study abroad journey.

From the celebration that took place on 7th July, the MBA and MSc graduates now have another wow moment to add to their memory banks – a final tribute to Paris’ unique cultural heritage and experience based on encounters, sharing, authenticity, and conviviality.

Farewell Party for MBA and MSc students, batch 2022

The students together with faculty and staff celebrated the end of studies for the 2022 MBA and MSc batches with a fiesta at Ground Control.

The party brought together students from MBA and MSc Supply Chain Management, Digital Business Analytics, International Business, International Finance & Asset Management classes.

The celebration was an occasion for EMLV students to go back in time and track some unique networking experiences – events such as Most Valuable Pitch, Alumni Fair, Career Fair – but also community-based activities that allowed them to improve their sportsmanship and connect with their peers.

Enjoying Paris’ Ground Control experience

Ground Control is a place of life and an independent cultural player. Located near the Gare de Lyon, is a former postal warehouse belonging to the SNCF, it is a space of 6500m² where people meet, where ideas are mixed, and where new solutions can appear.

A place of experimentation and expression, culture, the planet, solidarity, and the actors of change are the privileged subjects.

The team approaches them in many ways with various guests, artists, researchers, and entrepreneurs … able to make us move forward, together.

This very popular Parisian place is also an invitation to a new approach to conviviality, which includes good food and festivities, but also real-world encounters over coffee, at the foot of an olive tree, in front of an exhibition, or in the cockpit of a plane.

The name Ground Control refers to David Bowie, of course, a tribute to the pop-rock chameleon artist who blew up so many stereotypes, it is also a way of calling to reconnect with the earth … the earth in all its dimensions time, space, and seasons.
