The interview discusses the specific features of the EMLV model and the various courses offered to students in France and abroad.
The École de Management Léonard de Vinci (EMLV) is part of a multidisciplinary ecosystem within De Vinci Higher Education.
Since its creation, the school’s mission has been to train professionals capable of meeting the needs of businesses, particularly in the Paris La Défense area. Its positioning is based on four founding pillars: innovation, digital technology, soft skills and hybridisation of skills.
These structural axes are reinforced by the school’s proximity to ESILV (engineering school), IIM (digital and creative school) and De Vinci Executive Education (continuing education institute), enabling cross-disciplinary courses and transversal teaching.
EMLV offers several types of programmes:
Work-study programmes are available from the 3rd year for bachelor’s degrees and throughout the master’s cycle for the Grande École Programme. Student support is based on a teaching approach that combines academic expertise and strong links with the business world.
International awareness is an integral part of the educational model. It begins on campus, with a large proportion of courses taught in English and a faculty composed of 75% international professors.
In addition, there are numerous opportunities for academic mobility and double degrees with partner institutions, including HEC Montréal and universities in Australia and the United Kingdom.
This approach allows students to experience multicultural environments and take on roles with an international focus. Today, approximately 50% of EMLV graduates work in this type of context.
One of EMLV’s key strengths is the transversal nature of its programmes. Hybrid programmes such as Engineering-Manager and Digital Marketing & Data Analytics illustrate this desire to combine disciplines in order to respond to the challenges of digital, societal and ecological transformation within organisations.
The school positions its graduates at the intersection of management, technology and creativity. It emphasises hybrid skills, which are particularly sought after in an ever-changing world of work.
EMLV has quality labels that confirm its excellence in teaching and as an institution. The school is accredited by the Conférence des Grandes Écoles, which means it can give out bachelor’s and master’s degrees for its traditional programmes — Bachelor and Grande École Programme.
It also holds AACSB accreditation, awarded to less than 6% of business schools worldwide, attesting to the high quality of its management programmes.
In terms of international programmes, EMLV has obtained AMBA accreditation for its MBA, a label reserved for exceptional postgraduate programmes.
Finally, the EFMD Master label has been awarded to its Grande École Programme (Master in Management), renewed for five years in 2022, and EFMD Programme accreditation has been renewed in 2025 for the MSc International Business.
These distinctions give EMLV a solid position among the leading business schools recognised both in France and internationally.
EMLV’s strategic plan aims to strengthen its position among the most recognised management schools in France, while affirming its European ambition.
By integrating data, AI and sustainability issues into all of its courses, the school aims to train students to support companies in their digital and responsible transitions.
The high employability rate confirms this focus: 96% of graduates find permanent employment within six months of completing their studies, mainly in the finance, consulting, human resources, marketing and digital sectors.
The school favours motivated candidates who are open to international opportunities, sensitive to societal issues and interested in multidisciplinary approaches. The programmes are designed to enable rapid professional integration or further study, depending on the candidate’s aspirations.
All international candidates can submit their application through De Vinci Higher Education’s international application platform.
