In this context, the use of internationally recognised measurement tools is a key lever for placing sustainability issues at the heart of training programmes.
Founded in 2014, Sulitest is an international movement of French origin whose mission is to promote sustainability education on a global scale. Present in more than 20 countries, Sulitest now brings together more than 40 institutions recognised as Change Leaders and has already assessed more than 35,000 people from the academic and professional worlds.
By partnering with Sulitest, EMLV is taking an international and comparative approach to the challenges of ecological and societal transition, in line with its academic positioning and its roots within De Vinci Higher Education.
At the heart of this partnership is TASK™, a psychometric assessment tool developed by Sulitest. Based on multiple-choice questionnaires, TASK™ assesses fundamental knowledge related to sustainable development, covering environmental, social and systemic dimensions.
The tool aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of sustainability mechanisms: climate issues, social responsibility, sustainable economic models and levers for organisational transformation.
TASK™ is currently the only tool of its kind deployed on an international scale.
TASK™ serves several complementary purposes. For students and individuals, it allows them to identify their level of knowledge, track their progress and enhance skills that are increasingly sought after by businesses and organisations.
For higher education institutions and businesses, the tool offers an objective way of measuring knowledge in the field of sustainability. This data helps to inform teaching strategies, adjust training content and demonstrate the real impact of the educational measures put in place.
TASK™ is also a source of reliable and comparable data for ranking and accreditation bodies, making it easier to understand the commitments made by institutions on transition issues.
The partnership with Sulitest covers all De Vinci schools. This cross-disciplinary approach is part of a hybrid model combining management, engineering and digital technology, which is central to the campus’s educational model.
At EMLV, this partnership is particularly relevant to the Grande École Programme, which leads to a Master in Management and is structured around social openness, civic engagement and understanding of major contemporary transitions.
It complements existing initiatives related to sustainable development and social responsibility by providing an internationally recognised measurement tool.
With the help of TASK™, EMLV and De Vinci Higher Education are strengthening their ability to objectively assess sustainability skills and place these issues at the heart of their training programmes. This approach is part of a long-term vision: to train professionals who are able to understand the complexity of environmental and social transitions and respond to them in an informed manner.
