What to expect from a MBA in a French business school?
After a professional experience in Nigeria, in the fields of marketing and business development, Kayode realised that the world was changing.
“Technology was taking over, impacts were being made through social media, then I realised it was time for me to go back to school”.
Willing to enhance his knowledge of marketing by adding a digital dimension to his profile, Kayode soon found out about EMLV. He appreciated the theoretical-practical balance of the educational programme of the MBA.
After a six-month course, Kayode joined Chaineum for a six-month internship. The French startup is an Initial coin offering (ICO) operator, which focuses on blockchain, cryptocurrency and tokensale. Kayode currently is a Marketing project manager, however his knowledge of the African market made the team trust him with a business development mission in Nigeria.
“One course stood out for me, it’s the consultant project. It gives you the opportunity to practicalise all you have been learning and doing during the MBA course”.
Kayode seized the opportunity of this one-of-kind course to work with classmates on a project he developed for Nigeria. The Moneta Alexis foundation is intended for young people in Africa. Kayode’s project has to do with the Moneta Hub platform, whose goal is to train and mentor youth into creating their businesses.
Kayode enjoyed working with classmates coming from all over the world. Taught in English, the Digital Marketing Strategy MBA attracts international students.
“The classes are very interactive, it’s not just theory. We are mostly divided into teams, with people from different cultures”.
Cosmopolitanism is also to be experienced in Paris, says Kayode, who described the French to be warm and welcoming.
