Minhyung, a student from Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea, following an international exchange program at EMLV

Minhyung is Korean, from Sungkyunkwan in South Korea. He studies at Sungkyunkwan University and is following an international exchange in EMLV.

My name is PARK Minhyung and I am 25 years old. I come from South Korea and I study in Sungkyunkwan University. It’s a perfect university in Korea! Actually, ever since I was a child, I wanted to live in other countries, especially Europe. So I chose to follow the international exchange program.

I chose France because France is in the center of Europe. So many people and cultures gather in this country. Here, I can meet many people, diferent nations and cultures. I enjoy the antique streets, antique houses, antique structures and I like the Paris Saint-Germain, the soccer team of Paris. So that’s why I chose Paris.

I chose EMLV because I’m majoring in business in Korea. Actually I want to pursue this option in my studies and here, I can learn the European style business management.

First, when I came to Paris, it was difficult for me. But after living one month Paris, it became easier for me. I like the lifestyle, people here are relax in any circumstances. I like that.

EMLV’s structure is so perfect to study business. And many staff, like you and Chris or my Director are very very kind to us.

I live in Nanterre. It’s very close to “La Défense”. It’s a very calm, peaceful and very beautiful city.

I want to recommend to our Juniors that you have to make foreign friends in our school because in my University there are many foreign students from Netherlands, Sweden and France that are part of the exchange student program too. Please study French! And bring a little bit Korean food. I like French food but it is a little bit expensive and little bit greasy to me.
