Meet Our Partners : Dublin’s Dorset College, Ireland

Today, “Meet our partners” takes you on a tour in the heart of Dublin city, to discover EMLV’s Irish partner: Dorset College. Founded in 1983, the private college is home to the Devinci Career Fair – Dublin edition and to more than 100 students from the Pole Leonard de Vinci, enrolled in the Bachelor of Business and Science in Computing programmes.

Hosted by EMLV’s partner, the Devinci Career Fair held at Dorset College Dublin on November 7, 2019, included about 20 companies ranked on Universum’s World’s Most Attractive Employers list. The event was also the chance for more than 100 students looking for an internship beginning 2020, to network with digital and marketing professionals in the area.

Jeanne Le Corre, Academic Support Officer, explained in a video posted to EMLV’s YouTube channel the advantages of studying in Dublin as well as the benefits of a diverse learning environment, such as Dorset College.

The opportunity to mingle with students from America, South America, Africa, Asia, is an experience you can gain in very few places that offer undergraduate business studies. The team of academic lecturers with international experience and close ties to the business world is trained to deliver practical and relevant education that prepares students to meet the challenges for the future.

For instance, the Bachelor of Business can lead to a challenging business degree that employers recognise as the industry standard. The programme will enhance students’ employability skills and help them to define a clear career path.
