University College Cork: a new exchange agreement for EMLV students

EMLV is strengthening its European network with the signing of an Erasmus+ exchange agreement with University College Cork (UCC), an AACSB-accredited institution. The first departures are scheduled for the 2025-26 academic year.

This new agreement enhances international mobility opportunities for students in the Grande École Programme.

A strategic partnership in Ireland for EMLV

University College Cork, located in the city of the same name in southern Ireland, has joined the list of EMLV’s academic partners under the Erasmus+ programme. This agreement complements the existing offering in the country, which already includes Dublin City University, Griffith College and Dorset College.

As a member of the select group of AACSB-accredited institutions, UCC enjoys a strong academic standing: ranked third nationally, the university already has numerous links with French institutions, including Audencia, NEOMA, KEDGE and Sciences Po.

An opportunity for enhanced mobility

The agreement provides for the exchange of students between the two institutions for one or two semesters. The exchanges will be offered as part of the Grande École Programme for students in their third year of study, starting with the class of 2025-26.

A total of eight exchange places will be available, allowing students to enjoy an international academic experience in an English-speaking environment renowned for the quality of its teaching and the richness of its student life.

The signing of this agreement follows an institutional meeting at the NAFSA conference in May 2024. This international event dedicated to university cooperation provided an opportunity to further discussions with representatives from University College Cork, leading to the formalisation of the partnership.

Continued internationalisation

This new agreement is part of EMLV’s overall strategy to diversify the European destinations offered to students while maintaining high academic standards. By expanding its network to include accredited and internationally ranked institutions, the school is continuing its commitment to educational and professional mobility.
