TEDx 2025: Daring to change with the TEDx Club De Vinci

The TEDx Club De Vinci association of De Vinci Higher Education organised a new edition of its annual event, with a focus on boldness.

Speakers from a variety of backgrounds shared their thoughts on the theme of ‘DARE!’ during an evening event at the CGR Les Lilas cinema.

The 2025 edition of TEDx, organised by the TEDx Club De Vinci, brought together speakers from a variety of backgrounds to explore the theme of boldness from different angles. Whether discussing philosophy, entrepreneurship, pushing boundaries or public speaking, each talk highlighted the ability to step outside one’s comfort zone and embrace change.

The event was organised by a team of enthusiasts from the Léo Talks association at the Léonard de Vinci campus, who worked for several months to put together an evening rich in discussion and inspiration.

Eight personalities took to the stage to share their experiences and their vision of boldness:

• Vincent Cespedes, philosopher, explored boldness as a driver of change.
• Kevin Legavre, lecturer, emphasised the importance of slowing down in order to move forward more effectively.
• Maryvonne Le Brignonen, director of INSP, discussed the bold choices that shape a professional career path.
• Yann Fornier, teacher, spoke about the need to take risks in order to build one’s identity.
• Emmanuel Kinzonzi, world chessboxing champion, testified to the power of surpassing oneself.
• Justine Le Gall, student, compared life to a metro network, where each stop is an opportunity to be seized.
• Tom Roberts, speaker, highlighted the impact of public speaking on society.
• Alain Ribera, influencer, shared his perspective on boldness as a lever for personal transformation.

A time for discussion and sharing

Beyond the conferences, the event continued with a convivial cocktail reception. This was an opportunity for participants, speakers and spectators to exchange their impressions and continue the discussions that had begun on stage.
