Three of them share their motivations and experiences in Paris-La Défense.
The MSc International Business provides future managers with skills to strengthen the international development of organisations.
It combines theory and practice in areas such as management, negotiation, trade, and taxation, while integrating the cultural and geopolitical challenges of today’s global economy.
The course is taught entirely in English and is open to graduates from all academic fields. Internships, career fairs, and networking events create a bridge to the professional world, preparing graduates for opportunities in management, digital marketing, corporate finance, and international trade.
For Lola, Paris quickly became part of her academic experience. She explains:
“Many of my friends recommended this programme when I asked for advice. The MSc International Business at EMLV stood out as the right choice. Courses such as management, business planning, negotiation, and taxation are essential for a business career.”
She particularly values the diversity of the classroom: “We are about 24 students from around 10 different nationalities. That mix makes the learning environment dynamic and enriching.”
Internships play a central role in the programme: “To graduate, we complete a six-month internship. The school supports us with opportunities like career fairs and alumni events to meet professionals already active in the business world.”
Daniel describes studying abroad as a personal and professional challenge:
“I’ve always been someone who takes risks, and coming here was a huge step. Living abroad pushes you to rely on yourself and develop independence. That’s when growth really starts.”
Beyond classes, he balances his studies with personal projects, including running a YouTube fitness channel.
For him, the MSc International Business represents not only academic training but also a chance to redefine his path in an international context.
Kateryna chose EMLV for its location in Paris-La Défense and the programme’s comprehensive curriculum:
“What mattered most was the content of the courses. We do everything from writing CVs and improving LinkedIn profiles to learning about business taxation in different countries. It feels like a full business simulation.”
She highlights the relevance of learning from professionals: “Many professors are consultants or managers themselves, and they share their experience daily. Combined with classmates from multiple countries, it creates an authentic international business environment.”
Looking ahead, she appreciates the integration of career preparation into the programme: “Frequent career fairs, internships and group projects mean we are constantly preparing for our future roles.”
Through the MSc International Business, students like Lola, Daniel, and Kateryna experience first-hand the reality of international management while building a professional network in the heart of Europe’s largest business district.
