EMLV is expanding its network of international partners with the signing of an Erasmus agreement with the University of Klagenfurt (AAU), which is AACSB-accredited. This partnership is part of a drive towards greater academic openness in Europe.
This new agreement further strengthens the internationalisation of the courses offered to EMLV students.
A new European destination for international mobility
Located in Wörthersee, Austria, the University of Klagenfurt has joined the network of EMLV partner universities. The agreement signed covers an academic exchange programme under the Erasmus scheme, offering students the opportunity to spend a semester studying in Austria.
The university, renowned for the quality of its teaching, has AACSB international accreditation, a guarantee of academic rigour and global recognition.
A university at the crossroads of Alpine, Adriatic and European cultures
Located in the Austrian state of Carinthia, the University of Klagenfurt is the region’s leading academic institution. Its mission focuses on knowledge sharing, research and international cooperation.
Young and dynamic, it plays a central role in the Alps-Adriatic region, particularly through its membership of the Alps-Adriatic Rectors’ Conference (AARC) and the Kärntner University Conference (KUC).
Its openness and multicultural atmosphere also make it a regional cultural hub.
An agreement focused on academic exchange and research
The partnership provides for the exchange of four students per year for a semester. It is also open to faculty exchanges and research collaboration.
The exchange programme does not offer a double degree or specific certification, but is part of a structured, high-quality academic framework.
