I Pitch and Meet, the 2023 the International Edition

I Pitch and Meet is an event in a meeting format between EMLV’s corporate partners and students from international programmes, allowing students to connect with professionals.

During a half day, students from EMLV had the opportunity to present their projects, and have interviews to help them prepare for their future job interviews in France

I Pitch and Meet in a nutshell

At the beginning of February, eleven companies, of which 16 juries, participated in interviewing more than 100 students at the I Pitch and Meet event.
The I Pitch and Meet is an annual event at the Devinci Higher Education campus, located in the footsteps of the Grande Arche in the heart of the largest European business district – La Défense.

The concept is simple but rich in experience: A pitch session during which recruiters from some of Devinci Higher Education partners come to evaluate the skills of the international students from the MSc and MBA programs.

For the 2023 edition, 105 students participated in the I Pitch and Meet, and 126 students were invited and present at the welcome and Net-Working event. They attended the speech of the program directors Philippe WAGNER and Cyril BLONDET VARGAS.

More than just an event, an opportunity for the future

Even though they are students, the purpose of this event is to help them achieve their goals as professionals and give them every tool necessary to accomplish so.
The main objective is for companies to assess professional goals. Students on their end had been prepared for some time now and got ready to pitch their professional projects.

I Pitch and Meet is this occasion for students presenting projects to land the job they want. It is an important initiative and represents an excellent opportunity for them because, if everything goes well, they can match with a company and be hired. Moreover, students can also benefit from getting company feedback and know how to better prepare for the future.

Networking as a valuable tool

I Pitch and Meet is also a valuable tool for connecting students with people already working in the industry and helping them build an extensive network. As an example, after the pitch took place, some companies required the student’s CVs, which could lead to obtaining an internship.
