EMLV is structuring its strategy around a new school board, chaired by Bertrand Badr\u00e9, a recognized figure in sustainable finance and former World Bank executive.<\/h4>\n

This advisory body will support the school’s strategic direction within De Vinci Higher Education.<\/p>\n

A new governance body to support the development of EMLV<\/h2>\n

The EMLV School Board<\/a>‘s mission is to contribute to defining the institution’s academic, educational, scientific, and international orientations.<\/p>\n

It is part of the broader strategy of De Vinci Higher Education, a mission-driven company committed to transforming the world of education and professional life.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The council’s role is advisory: it issues opinions on the school’s strategy, training and research programs, partnerships, budget, internal regulations, and international initiatives. It also participates in the evaluation of projects designed to enrich the student experience.<\/p>\n

EMLV School Board 2025: Academic Roadmap and Research in Transition<\/h3>\n

The School Council meeting on July 1, 2025 provided an opportunity to take stock of governance, programmes<\/a>, and research<\/a> at EMLV. The administration reiterated the challenges associated with DVHE’s evolution into a mission-driven company, with a clear commitment to combining economic performance and academic excellence.<\/p>\n

The School Council’s internal regulations were adopted unanimously. EMLV offers a wide range of training programs based on cross-disciplinary collaboration with other schools in the group, internationalization, and work-study programs.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

On the research side, the strategy is geared toward better dissemination of work, greater interdisciplinary openness, and increased focus on societal issues, with a view to strengthening the DVRC and creating a DBA.<\/p>\n

The strategic missions of the School Board<\/h3>\n

The EMLV School Board is responsible for providing advice on all major policy decisions affecting the institution. It is involved in key areas such as academic and scientific strategy, educational policy, training and research programs, and partnerships.<\/p>\n

It also reviews proposals for the creation, modification, or elimination of courses, the school’s budget, internal regulations, and tuition fees. In addition, it contributes to discussions on international initiatives and programs designed to enrich the student experience.<\/p>\n

School Board Members: collective governance supported by a wide range of expertise<\/h2>\n

The school board brings together internal and external figures. It includes experts from the academic, scientific, economic, and industrial worlds, local stakeholders, alumni, and elected representatives of De Vinci Higher Education staff and students.<\/p>\n

Terms of office are for four years, with the exception of student representatives, who are elected for two years.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The council meets twice a year, convened by the chair, who sets the agenda.<\/p>\n

Bertrand Badr\u00e9, School Board Chairman<\/h3>\n

As CEO of Blue like an Orange Sustainable Capital<\/a>, Bertrand Badr\u00e9 brings recognized expertise in international finance and sustainable development to the board.<\/p>\n

He has held positions including Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at the World Bank<\/a>, as well as senior management roles at banking groups such as Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale and Cr\u00e9dit Agricole.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Author of several books on the transformation of finance, member of several boards of directors, and committed to ESG issues, he brings a strategic perspective to training challenges related to economic and societal change.<\/p>\n
